Job Title: Leisure Sales Manager
Reports To: Director of Sales and Marketing
FLSA Designation: Exempt - Salaried
Responsible for the promotion and selling of Sanctuary through personal sales calls, telemarketing, site inspections and local and regional prospecting
while caring enough to do it well by adhering to the Sanctuary Commitments.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform exceptional communication skills throughtout all functions of the job.
Perform daily phone solicitation of leads.
Conduct site inpections with prospective clients.
Promote, prospect and sell Sanctuary through personal sales calls, written correspondence, telemarking, site inspections and local and regional prospecting/generating and maximizing revenue
Research availability for clients on a daily basis.
Prepare proposal and negotiate contracts to bring maximum room and food and beverage incremental revenues to the resort.
Prepare and update quarterly tactical plan
for market segment to maximize revenue opportunities
Represent Sanctuary with respect and courtesy.
Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that enables getting along with guests, vendors, co-workers, and management.
Perform additional duties as requested by the Director of Sales and Marketing.
Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable law.
Supervise the Sales Administrative Assistant.
Conduct performance appraisal as necessary; perform 90 day and annual evaluation of the administrative assistant.

Must have prior sales experience
Ability to handle multiple priorities.

Ability to stand, walk and/or sit continuously to perform essential job functions.
Good telephone voice and excellent/professional communication skills required.
Ability to listen effectively, to speak and write English clearly.
Requires extending arms, bending and stooping to reach materials in drawers or on shelves
Professional attire required by following appearance code guidelines as set forth in the Employee Handbook. Especially important due to constant guest contact.
Nametag must be worn at all times.
Appearance must always be neat, clean and professional.
Parking, eating & smoking in designated employee areas only.
One meal per shift is provided through the employee cafeteria only.
No drinks or food should be consumed around the computer area.
