JOB SUMMARY
The Director of Leisure Sales contributes to the success of Sanctuary Camelback Mountain by developing and executing sales strategies to attract leisure travelers, build lasting client relationships, and maximize resort revenue. This role drives business through proactive prospecting, personal sales calls, written correspondence, telemarketing, site inspections, and local and regional sales initiatives. The Director of Leisure Sales collaborates with resort leadership and cross-functional teams to identify new business opportunities, strengthen market presence, and promote Sanctuary's distinctive luxury hospitality experience.

JOB FUNCTIONS
Note: the following duties and responsibilities are not all-inclusive
- Responsible for achieving quarterly revenue goal and annual rooms budget.
- Manage all business and leisure travel accounts in local, national, and international markets.
- Work directly with different consortias such as American Express Hotel and Resorts, Virtuoso, Signature Travel Network, Andrew Harper travel, and ensemble travel group.
- Negotiate corporate accounts with Carolson, Wagonlit, BCD travel and numerous other companies.
- Perform exceptional communication skills throughout all functions of the position.
- Perform daily phone solicitation of leads.
- Conduct site inspections with travel agents.
- Promote, prospect and sell Sanctuary through personal sales calls, written correspondence, telemarking, site inspections and local/regional prospecting, generating, and maximizing revenue.
- Monitor availability for clients on a daily basis.
- Prepare and update quarterly tactical plan for leisure segment to maximize revenue opportunities.
- Works collaboratively with travel agents to ensure the client’s needs are being met.
- Participates in sales calls with sales team to acquire new business and/or close on business.
- Displays leadership in guest hospitality, exemplary customer service, and creating a positive example for guest relations.
- Executes and supports Sanctuary service standards and resort’s brand standards.
- Maintain a positive work environment by communicating in a manner that enables positive interactions with guests, vendors, co-workers, and management.
- Perform additional duties as requested by the Director of Sales and Marketing.

- Maintain a high level of work quality and quantity per resort standards.

- Always maintain high standards of professionalism, ethics, and a positive attitude towards all.
- Attend all meetings and training as scheduled by Leadership.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- High School Diploma/G.E.D. Equivalent
- 2-year or 4 degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major.
Related Work Experience
- Must have at least 5 years prior sales experience.
