Job Description


This position contributes to Sanctuary success by applying your skills and talent to the Front Desk, PBX and Night Audit responsibilities.

  • Complete Food and Beverage, Rooms and Spa daily audit. 
  • Run audit reports from Front Desk computer, make corrections, adjustments and handle all computer problems that may occur throughout the night shift. 
  • Balance all revenue and settlement accounts nightly, maintain files and reset system for next day operations. 
  • Accept and record vouchers, traveler’s checks, and other forms of payment. Count cash and other methods of payment at the end of the shift to verify and balance the house bank.

The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he/she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities. 

  • Solid interpersonal skills and positive attitude is a must. 
  • Computer experience needed. 
  • Basic mathematical skills. 
  • Ability to listen effectively, to speak and write English clearly. 
  • Ability to effectively deal with guest and employee concerns in a friendly and positive manner. 
  • Must have excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills.
  • An individual who is highly detail oriented. 
  • Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations. 

High School Diploma/G.E.D. Equivalent
Related Work Experience
At least two years experience in related work.
Knowledge of accounting operations to include all aspects such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, etc.
