Tennis & Pickleball Court Pro

This position contributes to the success of the Sanctuary Spa by being responsible for daily operations of the tennis and pickleball clubhouse. Exceeding guest’s needs and helping each guest progress in their goals as tennis players. 

JOB FUNCTIONS

Note: the following duties and responsibilities may not be all-inclusive

• Represent the resort management in all tennis and pickleball related functions.
• Personalize each class/clinic/lesson to accommodate the individual needs of our guests. Interact appropriately with guest and members.
• Follow established protocol to provide consistent, excellent service.
• Provide knowledge and tennis or pickleball instruction to every guest/member.
• Perform all opening and closing responsibilities for the Clubhouse.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization and restocking work area.  This includes maintenance of tennis and pickleball facilities, resort courts, and all tennis/pickleball related equipment and all areas surrounding the tennis/pickleball courts.  
• Assist members and resort guests with rescheduling or canceling as requested.
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organization policies/applicable laws.
• Other duties as assigned by Spa Membership & Wellness Manager and/or Spa Director.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he/she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.

• Ability to maintain a pleasant disposition and work smoothly in high stress work environment.
• Excellent computer/telephone etiquette; excellent/professional communication skills required.
• Professional skills, experience and knowledge in teaching all levels of tennis and pickleball to players and instructors including demonstration of particular skills.
• Take the initiative to make contributions to the department and resort while maintaining positive working relationships with co-workers. 
• Promote excellent guest relations while living the Sanctuary Values.
